CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) is a slightly altered form of the essential fatty acid linoleic acid and may help maintain an optimal balance between lean muscle and fat.
A converted form of safflower oil is used as the source of EAS CLA. The c-9, t-11 and t-10 and c-12 CLA isomers present are believed to be the key forms incorporated into the phospholipids fraction of tissues of animals and humans fed a mixture of CLA isomers. EAS CLA in a clear capsule contains mineral inactive particles, which can discolour the CLA oil. Therefore, EAS CLA can be delivered in clear capsules, instead of brown capsules containing artificial colourings. EAS CLA is also free of any pork ingredients.
